UPESSC PRT Assistant Teacher Application Window 2026 Closes Tomorrow, Apply by November 4

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will close the online application window for Assistant Teacher Primary Recruitment 2026 on November 4, 2026. Candidates interested in applying under Advertisement No. 05/2026 must complete their registration and submit the application form before the revised deadline.

Initially, the application deadline was October 28, 2026. However, the Commission extended the registration period by one week after an Allahabad High Court order dated October 24, 2026. The extension also followed the inclusion of two additional educational qualifications for Assistant Teacher (Affiliated Primary) posts under the Secondary Education Department.

Eligible candidates with a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India or a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) can now apply for the recruitment.

The application correction facility will remain available until November 7, 2026. Meanwhile, the UPESSC PRT written examination will be conducted as scheduled on December 3 and 4, 2026.
