The AIIMS NORCET 12 Admit Card 2027 will be released online before the examination. Candidates whose applications are accepted will be able to download their admit cards using their login credentials. In NORCET 11, AIIMS uploaded the admit card before the Stage-I examination and separately provided examination-centre information.
Candidates should carry the admit card along with the required original photo ID and other documents specified in the admit card instructions.
The AIIMS NORCET 12 Result 2027 will be released online by AIIMS. Since the examination is conducted in two stages, results/qualified candidate lists are expected to be released separately.
As per the schedule provided, the Stage-I result notification is expected on April 21, 2027, while the Stage-II result notification is expected on May 11, 2027.
The final selection merit is based on performance in Stage-II NORCET Main, subject to eligibility, document verification, vacancies and applicable rules.
The AIIMS NORCET 12 Cut Off 2027 will be available after the examination. Candidates should distinguish between the prescribed qualifying standard and the actual competitive cut-off/last selected score.
In the latest NORCET pattern, Stage-I qualifying standards were 50 percentile for UR/EWS, 45 percentile for OBC and 40 percentile for SC/ST. PwBD candidates receive an additional five-percentile relaxation as prescribed.
For Stage-II, the latest prescribed qualifying percentages were 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST, with applicable PwBD relaxation.
The actual NORCET 12 cut-off will depend on factors such as the number of candidates, difficulty level, vacancies and category-wise competition.
Practising the AIIMS NORCET Previous Year Question Paper is important for understanding the examination pattern and difficulty level. Candidates should solve previous papers of NORCET Preliminary and Main examinations regularly.
While practising previous papers, candidates should focus on:
Community Health Nursing
Nursing management
Anatomy and physiology
General Knowledge and aptitude for Stage-I
Candidates should also practise case-based nursing questions because the latest Stage-II pattern focuses on scenario-based questions designed to assess nursing competency.
The AIIMS NORCET 12 Selection Process 2027 is expected to follow the two-stage examination system, subject to the official notification.
Selection process:
Stage 1 → NORCET Preliminary → Stage-II qualification → NORCET Main → Merit List → Choice & Preference → Seat Allocation → Document Verification → Appointment
Stage-I is qualifying in nature, while the final merit is prepared based on Stage-II performance. Qualified candidates are invited to exercise choices/preferences for participating institutes, and seat allocation is made according to merit and the choices submitted by candidates.
Candidates should carefully fill their preferences because allocation is made according to merit and the order of choices.
Candidates targeting AIIMS NORCET 12 should prepare for both stages simultaneously because Stage-I is qualifying, while Stage-II determines the final merit.
Start with the subjects included in your GNM/B.Sc. Nursing curriculum of NORCET Syllabus. Build strong conceptual understanding rather than depending only on memorisation.
Focus on nursing procedures, patient care, emergency management, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing and clinical decision-making.
Since the Main examination includes case scenario-based questions, regularly practise clinical situations and questions that require application of nursing knowledge.
Attempt NORCET previous year papers under exam-like conditions. Analyse every incorrect answer and maintain a revision notebook for repeated mistakes.
Take regular full-length mocks to improve speed and accuracy. Because negative marking applies, candidates should avoid excessive guessing.
Stage-I includes 20 questions from General Knowledge and Aptitude, so candidates should allocate regular study time to these areas.
Create a weekly revision schedule and revise important nursing facts, drugs, procedures, diseases, investigations and clinical management protocols.
The latest NORCET pattern uses time-bound sections, and candidates cannot return to a previous section after it closes. Therefore, practise completing questions within the allotted section time.
