CCRUM Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria 2026

Nationality

An applicant must be a citizen of India. Alternatively, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with permanent settlement intentions, or persons of Indian origin migrating from specific East African countries and Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam with the intent of permanent settlement in India are also eligible. Candidates in the latter categories must possess an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit

The maximum age for the Staff Nurse (Group B) position is 35 years. Age relaxations are provided as per the Government of India guidelines for various categories. For the general category, the age limit should not exceed 35 years.

Age relaxation details: SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation, OBC-NCL candidates 3 years, PwBD (UR) 10 years, PwBD (OBC-NCL) 13 years, and PwBD (SC/ST) 15 years. The cumulative age relaxation limit is 56 years.

Educational Qualification

For the Staff Nurse (Group-B) post, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications. These include either a B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing, a regular B.Sc Nursing, or Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognised University or Institute, coupled with registration as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife (RN or RN & RM) with a State Nursing Council. Alternatively, a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized Board or Council is acceptable, along with registration as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife, and one year of experience in a minimum fifty-bedded hospital after acquiring the diploma. Knowledge of Urdu, Arabic, and Persian is desirable.

• Create an account by signing up with basic details (name, father's name, mother's name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, valid Government ID, password). Mobile number and email will be verified via OTP. A reference number will be sent for login.

• Fill in detailed profile information after logging in with the reference number and password. This includes personal details and basic qualifications. Upload scanned photograph, signature, caste certificate, PwBD certificate, discharge certificate for ESM, basic qualification certificates, and scribe declaration form (if applicable).

• Select the desired post(s), provide post-specific information, and upload relevant documents. Proceed to pay the application and examination fees through the online payment gateway (Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI).

• After successful payment, generate and retain the 'Payment Acknowledgement Slip' and the filled application form with the Unique Registration Number.

• Note that a modification window will be available from August 3, 2026, to August 5, 2026, for corrections, subject to a non-refundable fee.

Application Fee

Candidates from SC/ST/PwBD/EWS/Ex-Serviceman categories and female candidates are exempt from paying the Examination Fee but must pay the Processing Fee. The total fee for various categories is given below-

•  UR/OBC for Staff Nurse (Group B) is Rs. 1500/-. 

• SC/ST/PwBD/EWS/Women/Ex-Servicemen is Rs. 500/-

The payment mode is exclusively online. A non-refundable modification fee of Rs. 300/- per attempt applies during the modification window.

CCRUM Staff Nurse Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the CCRUM Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 primarily involves an online computer-based test (CBT). For Group B posts, including Staff Nurse, the selection will be based on a 100-mark CBT.

1. Online Computer-Based Test (CBT): This test will be for 100 marks. The questions will be Multiple-Choice (MCQs) and bilingual (English and Hindi). There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The duration of the exam is 100 minutes (130 minutes for PwBD candidates).

2. Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must secure a minimum of 25% for SC/ST/PwBD categories and 30% for all other categories (UR, OBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen) in the CBT.

CCRUM Staff Nurse Salary & Job Profile 2026

Selected candidates for the CCRUM Staff Nurse position  is placed at Pay Level-7 under the 7th CPC, with a basic pay range of approximately Rs. 44,900–Rs. 1,42,400 plus applicable allowances and benefits as per central government norms.
