Every nursing aspirant dreams of securing a government job, but the journey often brings doubts about preparation strategy, revision, and balancing studies with competitive exams. Jyoti faced similar questions while preparing for the Bihar Staff Nurse 2025 examination.
A B.Sc. Nursing graduate from Bihar and currently pursuing M.Sc. Nursing at AIIMS Delhi, Jyoti stayed focused on her goal. Through disciplined preparation and regular practice with PW Nursing Wallah resources, she successfully cleared the Bihar Staff Nurse 2025 examination with 74.5 marks.
Before beginning her preparation, Jyoti had already completed her B.Sc. Nursing and decided to continue working towards government nursing examinations while pursuing higher education.
Introducing herself, Jyoti said:
"I am from Patna Bihar... I have recently completed my B.Sc. Nursing from St. John's College... and currently I am pursuing M.Sc. Nursing at AIIMS Delhi in Critical Care."
Introducing herself, Jyoti shared that she belonged to Bihar and was continuing her studies while keeping her focus on government nursing opportunities. Instead of delaying her preparation, she kept moving towards her goal one exam at a time.
One of the key decisions in Jyoti's preparation was to avoid using multiple sources for the same topics. Instead, she focused on one primary source and repeatedly revised her notes.
She explained:
"Sir, padhai ke liye to maine aise multiple sources nahi rakha hai. Maine ek hi source se padhai kiya hai. Phir apne notes ko baar-baar revise kiya hai. Aur phir sir aapke exam ke pehle jo marathon classes lagte the ya phir Aarogyam Reloaded wo main dekh leti thi... ECG interpretation bahut zyada hi helpful raha... Ritu Ma'am ka OBG classes bhi YouTube pe main dekh leti thi. Wo sab bahut zyada hi useful tha sir."
Rather than collecting multiple books or courses, Jyoti trusted one source and focused on revision. Marathon sessions, Aarogyam Reloaded classes, ECG interpretation sessions, and OBG lectures helped her revise important topics before the examination without creating unnecessary confusion.
For Jyoti, consistent preparation became easier with the right study support and a structured approach. Through PW Nursing Wallah, she was able to stay focused on her nursing exam preparation while combining theory revision with regular MCQ practice.
As the exam approached, Jyoti understood that consistency mattered more than simply studying for long hours.
"Sir main ek hi... jab preparation kar rahi thi... tab main bahut focus thi... concentrate hoke padhai kar rahi thi... consistent hokar main sochi thi bas wo exam hi crack karna hai. Aise agar student consistent aur disciplined hoke padhai kare to phir koi bhi nursing exams nikal sakte hain sir."
The structured preparation and regular practice helped her maintain a disciplined routine. Instead of focusing only on completing the syllabus, she worked on revising concepts and improving her performance through questions.
MCQ practice became an important part of her preparation. When she found a question difficult, she used the elimination method and recorded her mistakes for later revision.
"Haan sir MCQs jab practice karti thi to agar wo nahi solve ho rahe hote the to elimination method use kar leti thi. Phir jo bhi nahi banti thi use main mistakes book mein likh deti thi aur usi MCQs ko baar-baar revise karti thi. Theory ko bhi exam se pehle two-three times revise kar leti thi."
This approach helped her turn mistakes into revision points. By repeatedly practising MCQs, reviewing incorrect questions, and revising theory before the exam, Jyoti was able to make her preparation more focused and systematic.
PW Nursing Wallah's role in her journey was not just about studying more but about supporting a preparation routine built around concept revision, MCQ practice, mistake analysis, and consistency. These habits helped Jyoti stay on track and approach her nursing exam preparation with greater confidence.
Months of focused preparation finally reflected in her performance during the Bihar Staff Nurse examination.
Jyoti appeared for the 100-mark Bihar Staff Nurse 2025 examination and secured 74.5 marks, successfully qualifying the exam while continuing her academic journey.
When asked what message she would like to give other aspirants, her answer reflected the mindset that kept her moving forward.
"Sir actually dar to preparation ke time sabhi ko lagta hai. Main to yahi kahungi agar zyada dar lag raha hai na to us time motivation video dekh lo... consistent hokar padhai karna... notes ko baar-baar revise karna hai... MCQs ko bhi bahut solve karna hai... rationale ke saath us cheez ko samajhna hai... aise karne se nursing mein koi bhi exam hum crack kar sakte hain... dheere-dheere padh ke sab kuch ho sakta hai, lekin ek time lagta hai."
Instead of expecting instant success, Jyoti trusted the process. She believed that fear is common during preparation, but regular revision, continuous MCQ practice, and patience gradually build the confidence required to clear competitive nursing examinations.
Jyoti's preparation strategy was built around a few consistent habits: sticking to a primary study source, revising notes repeatedly, practising MCQs, and maintaining a record of mistakes.
Her journey offers a practical lesson for nursing aspirants preparing for competitive examinations. Instead of constantly changing resources, students can focus on understanding concepts, revising them regularly, learning from mistakes, and staying consistent throughout their preparation.
