Age Limit: The minimum age must be 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
Educational Qualification:
The student must pass Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English.
The student must score at least 45% marks in total from a recognized school board like CBSE, ICSE, or other state boards.
Students passing Class 12 Science from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with 45% marks can also apply.
Health: The candidate must be physically and medically fit.
Residency: Local residents of Jharkhand get preference. Students from other states will only be considered if seats remain vacant after counseling Jharkhand candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognised board.
Candidates who passed the 10+1 class in or before 1986 are also eligible.
Professional Registration:
Candidates must have a valid General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) certificate.
They must be registered as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (R.N.R.M.) with the State Nurses Registration Council.
Male Candidates Rules:
Male nurses who trained before the integrated course was introduced need to show proof of special training approved by the Indian Nursing Council.
This training should be of equal duration in areas like OT Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, TB Nursing, Community Health Nursing, or Psychiatric Nursing.
