LBS ANM GNM Admission 2026: The LBS Centre for Science and Technology has released the official admission notification and prospectus for GNM and ANM Admissions 2026-27. The admission process is conducted for government nursing institutions under the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Kerala.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official LBS portal before the last date. Applicants are advised to read the prospectus carefully and regularly visit the official website for updates regarding rank lists, allotments, and admission schedules.

Candidates can download the LBS ANM GNM Admission 2026 Notification PDF from the official counselling website. The notification includes the complete admission schedule, institute-wise and category-wise seat matrix, eligibility criteria, reservation policy, counselling guidelines, and other important instructions. 

The LBS ANM GNM 2026 Apply Online link is available on the official admission portal. Eligible candidates can register online, complete the application form, upload the required documents, pay the prescribed application fee, and submit their application between 03 July 2026 and 23 July 2026 to participate in the admission and counselling process.

Courses Offered Under LBS ANM GNM Admission 2026

Two nursing programmes are offered under the admission process.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

  • Course Duration: 3 Years + 6 Months Internship

  • Maximum Course Completion Period: 6 Years

  • Conducted by:

    • Directorate of Medical Education (DME)

    • Directorate of Health Services (DHS)

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)

  • Course Duration: 2 Years

  • Maximum Course Completion Period: 4 Years

  • Conducted by:

    • Directorate of Health Services (DHS)

Eligibility Criteria for LBS ANM GNM Admission 2026

Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements.

Educational Qualification

For GNM

Candidates should have:

  • Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination.

  • Minimum 40% aggregate marks.

  • Registered ANM nurses with HSE qualification are also eligible.

For ANM

Candidates must have passed:

  • Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 17 Years

  • Age should be completed on or before 31 December 2026

  • No Upper Age Limit

Mark Relaxation

SC/ST Pass the qualifying examination
PwD 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks

How to Apply for LBS ANM GNM Admission 2026?

Candidates should follow the steps below to complete the online application process:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official LBS Centre admission portal, lbscentre.in/gnmanm2026.

  • Click on "New Registration".

  • Enter all required personal, academic, and contact details.

  • Select the appropriate category (General/SC/ST).

  • Verify the entered information carefully.

  • Click "Save and Continue" to complete the registration.

  • The system will display the applicable application fee based on the selected category and course.

Step 2: Pay the Application Fee

After registration, candidates must pay the application fee using one of the following methods:

Online Payment

Candidates can pay the fee through:

  • Credit Card

  • Debit Card

  • Internet Banking

After successful payment:

  • A Payment Confirmation Page will be generated.

  • The page will display the Application Number, Transaction ID, Challan Number (if applicable), Date, and Amount Paid.

  • Candidates should download or print the confirmation page and keep it safely for future login and admission purposes.

If the payment fails:

  • A "Transaction Unsuccessful" message will be displayed.

  • Candidates should verify the payment status with their bank.

  • If payment is unsuccessful, they should make the payment again through the Application Fee Payment option available on the homepage.

  • Any amount debited due to a failed transaction is generally refunded within 5–7 working days.

Payment Through Bank Challan

Candidates may also pay the application fee through a Bank Challan by following these steps:

  1. Generate the challan during online registration.

  2. Print the three-part challan (Candidate Copy, Office Copy, and Bank Copy).

  3. Visit any designated Scheduled Bank branch in Kerala.

  4. Deposit the prescribed application fee.

  5. Collect the Candidate Copy of the challan after payment and keep it safely.

  6. Resume the online application process on the next day or within the prescribed application period after the payment is credited.

Step 3: Complete and Submit the Application

After successful fee payment:

  • Log in to the application portal.

  • Fill in the remaining details.

  • Upload all required documents in the prescribed format.

  • Review the application carefully before submission.

  • Submit the application and download the final confirmation page for future reference.

Important: Candidates must complete the registration, fee payment, document upload, and final submission before the last date. Incomplete or multiple applications will be rejected.

LBS ANM GNM Admission 2026 Application Fee & Application Process

Candidates can apply for LBS ANM GNM Admission 2026 only through the official online portal of the LBS Centre for Science and Technology. Only one application is permitted per candidate; submission of multiple applications will lead to rejection.

Reservation of seats is applicable according to Kerala Government rules.

For DHS institutions, the remaining seats are distributed as:

ANM Seat Matrix 2026

The ANM Seat Matrix 2026 provides the category-wise and institute-wise distribution of seats available for admission to Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) courses across participating government and private nursing institutions. It helps candidates understand seat availability and plan their counselling and college preferences accordingly.

LBS ANM GNM Admission 2026 Selection Process

Admission will be purely merit-based.

The selection process includes:

  • Online application submission

  • Verification of uploaded documents

  • Preparation of separate merit lists

  • Publication of rank list

  • Centralised Allotment Process (CAP)

  • Document verification at allotted institution

  • Final admission

Merit List Preparation

  • GNM (Science): Physics + Chemistry + Biology marks

  • GNM (Non-Science): Marks obtained in three core subjects

  • ANM: Total marks obtained in the qualifying examination

Stipend

GNM Students

  • Monthly Stipend: ₹700

  • Internship Stipend: ₹2,000 per month

Male and transgender students studying in DHS nursing schools receive an additional ₹50 per month as House Rent Allowance (HRA).

ANM Students

  • Monthly Stipend: ₹500

Bond & Liquidated Damages

Candidates discontinuing the course after the admission closure date must pay:

GNM

  • ₹50,000

  • Refund of stipend received with 4% interest

ANM

  • ₹10,000

  • Refund of stipend received with 4% interest

Candidates must also execute an undertaking on stamp paper:

  • ₹500 (GNM)

  • ₹200 (ANM)

  • Ensure all uploaded certificates are valid on the application closing date.
