MH GNM CAP Counselling Schedule 2026 Released: Check CAP Round 1 and 2 Dates

The MH GNM CAP Counselling Schedule 2026 has been released for admission to the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course under the Public Health Department for the academic year 2026–27. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has issued Notice No. 01 dated August 29, 2026.

Candidates who appeared for MH-NURSING CET 2026 and seek admission through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) can register as per the given schedule. Separate registration for the CAP process is mandatory, even if you have appeared for MH-NURSING CET 2026.

Admissions to the GNM course under the Public Health Department will be carried out on the basis of merit obtained in MH-NURSING CET 2026. You should check the Information Brochure and follow the official admission portal for updates.

MH GNM CAP Counselling Schedule 2026

The MH GNM CAP Round 2026 registration process has started on August 29, 2026. You must complete registration, fee payment, document uploading, and verification within the prescribed dates.

The schedule is subject to change as per directions from the INC, State Government or Hon'ble Court. The schedule for subsequent rounds will be announced later.

MH GNM CAP Counselling Schedule 2026: Registration and Document Verification

You can complete the registration and document-related activities as per the following schedule:

• Online Registration: You can complete the online registration from August 29 to September 4, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

• Registration Fee Payment: You can pay the registration fee from August 29 to September 5, 2026, up to 8:00 PM.

• Completion of Registration: Your registration will be considered complete only after successful payment of the applicable fee.

• Document Upload: You must upload colored scanned copies of all original requisite documents by September 5, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

• Document Submission: After uploading all the required documents, you must click on the Submit option.

• Document Verification: Online document verification will be conducted from August 29 to September 6, 2026.

• Failure to Upload Documents: Candidates who fail to upload the required documents may not be considered for admission under the claimed category. Their forms may also be rejected.

MH GNM CAP Counselling Schedule 2026: Merit List and Grievances

The merit list and grievance process will be conducted as per the following schedule:

• Registered Candidate List: The Registered Candidate List will be published on September 7, 2026.

• Provisional Merit List: The Provisional Merit List will also be published on September 7, 2026.

• Submission of Grievances: You can submit a grievance on September 8, 2026, up to 8:00 PM if you find any discrepancy in the Provisional Merit List.

• Supporting Documents: You must submit the necessary supporting documents along with your grievance. Corrections will not be considered without supporting documents.

• Final Merit List: The Final Merit List will be published on September 10, 2026.

• Seat Matrix: The Seat Matrix will also be published on September 10, 2026.

MH GNM CAP Counselling Schedule 2026: CAP Round 1

The CAP Round 1 process will be conducted as per the following schedule:

• Choice and Preference Filling: You can fill your online choices and preferences from September 11 to September 13, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

• CAP Round 1 Declaration: The CAP Round 1 result will be declared on September 15, 2026.

• Physical Joining: If you are allotted a seat, physical joining at the allotted college is mandatory. You must report with all original documents and the required fees in the form of a Demand Draft (DD).

• Joining Dates: The physical joining process will be conducted from September 16 to September 20, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

• Payment Through Cheque: Payment through cheque is allowed on bank holidays. The cheque must be replaced by a DD on the next working day.

• Failure to Submit DD: If you fail to replace the cheque with a DD on the next working day, your admission may be cancelled.

MH GNM CAP Counselling Schedule 2026: CAP Round 2

The CAP Round 2 process will be conducted as per the following schedule:

• Seat Matrix: The Seat Matrix for CAP Round 2 will be published on September 21, 2026.

• Choice and Preference Filling: You can fill your online choices and preferences from September 21 to September 22, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

• CAP Round 2 Declaration: The CAP Round 2 result will be declared on September 23, 2026.

• Physical Joining: If you are allotted a seat in CAP Round 2, you must complete physical joining at the allotted college from September 24 to September 28, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

• Documents and Fees: You must carry all original documents and the required fees in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) while joining the allotted college.

Important Instructions for MH GNM CAP Counselling 2026

You should keep the following instructions in mind while completing the CAP process:

• Eligibility: Only candidates who appeared for MH-NURSING CET 2026 are eligible to register for the CAP process in this phase.

• Online Registration: You must complete registration through the online admission portal within the prescribed period.

• Document Upload: You are responsible for uploading all required documents within the given schedule.

• Eligibility Check: You should check your eligibility before submitting the registration form.

• Reservation Category: If you are claiming a reservation category, you must select the applicable category in the application form before submission.

• Reservation Documents: You should keep the required documents ready, including the Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, wherever applicable.

• EWS Certificate: Candidates claiming EWS must submit an EWS certificate valid for the academic year 2026–27. The certificate must be issued in the Maharashtra State Government format. The Central Government format will not be considered valid.

• PWD Candidates: PWD candidates must have claimed the quota while appearing for MH-NURSING CET 2026. They must also undergo a physical examination with the Medical Board to be eligible. Details of the Medical Board will be shared later.

• OBC and SEBC Candidates: The receipt of the Caste Validity Certificate can be accepted as per the Government Resolution dated July 2, 2026.

• Caste Validity Certificate: OBC and SEBC candidates must submit the Caste Validity Certificate within six months from the date of registration for the CAP process.

• Failure to Submit Certificate: Failure to submit the certificate within the prescribed period may lead to cancellation of admission and applicable penalties for the lapse of the seat.
