MP PNST 2026 Admission Process for B.Sc. Nursing happens through fixed steps managed by the board and counselling bodies:
Candidates appear for an objective-type test. The exam has 100 questions of 1 mark each. The exam covers 5 subjects: Physics (20 marks), Chemistry (20 marks), Biology (20 marks), General English (20 marks), and General Knowledge (20 marks). For every correct answer, 1 mark is given, but 0.25 marks will be cut for a wrong answer.
The board prepares a merit list based on performance percentiles. To qualify, candidates need to score above the minimum cut-off marks:
Unreserved / EWS: 50th percentile
General Category PwD: 45th percentile
SC / ST / OBC: 40 percentile
If two candidates get the same score, biology marks are checked first, followed by chemistry, physics, and English marks. If marks are still equal, older candidates get a higher rank preference.
Once the board releases the merit results on the portal, the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council handles the counselling rounds. A separate schedule and guide will be uploaded for choice filling and seat allotment.
During the college reporting phase, selected candidates must present their original certificates. These documents include marksheet copies, category proofs, identity cards, and medical fitness forms. If any paper is missing or found to be false, the college authorities will cancel the seat admission immediately. Regular department staff, like ANM workers, must also sign a bond of ₹5 Lakhs to serve the state department for at least 5 years after finishing the course.
