  • Punjab ANM GNM Eligibility 2026 Educational Qualification:

  • Passed 10+2 with English, minimum 40% marks from a recognised Board.

  • Candidates from State Open School (recognised by State Government) or National Institute of Open School (NIOS) are eligible. English must be a pass subject.

  • 10+2 with English, 40% marks in vocational ANM course (INC recognised school).

  • 10+2 with English, 40% marks in Vocational Stream-Health Care Science (CBSE/State/Centre recognised).

  • Registered ANM with a pass mark is also eligible.

  • SC/ST candidates receive a 5% relaxation in total qualifying marks.

  • Foreign nationals require 12th standard equivalency from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

  • Residence Status: Preference is for Punjab residents. This includes candidates born in Punjab, or who studied 10+1 and 10+2 in Punjab, or are permanent residents. Permanent residency involves studying in Punjab for 5 years or 2 years preceding the qualifying exam, or specific employment criteria for parents/wards.
