The RRB Nursing Superintendent Selection Process comprises three rounds of Computer-Based Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Candidates should qualify for all three stages to join RRB in the Nursing Superintendent profile.
Computer-Based Test (CBT): The first and most important step is the online CBT. This 90-minute exam features 100 objective questions. It covers nursing subjects (70%) and general topics like Maths and Science (30%). Every correct answer earns one mark, but beware of the 1/3 negative marking for wrong answers.
Document Verification: Candidates who score above the qualifying marks (40% for General/EWS) move to this stage. They must show original documents like your B.Sc/GNM degree and Nursing Council Registration. Any mismatch in names or Fdates here can lead to rejection.
Medical Examination: finally, shortlisted candidates undergo a health check-up at a Railway Hospital. Candidates must meet the C-1 Medical Standard, which focuses on physical fitness and clear vision (6/12 and 6/18 with or without glasses) to ensure you can handle hospital duties.
