RUHS CUET 2026 counselling process has been temporarily put on hold after an interim order from the Rajasthan High Court. Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) has issued an official notification stating that the online counselling process, which was scheduled to begin on July 4, 2026, will remain kept in abeyance until further orders.
The decision impacts admissions to several undergraduate and diploma programmes, including B.Sc. Nursing, BPT, B.Optom, BMLS, RRTT, BMRIT, B.Pharm, and D.Pharm offered through RUHS CUET 2026.
According to the official notice issued by RUHS on 3 July 2026, the university has postponed the RUHS BSc Nursing counselling 2026 process in compliance with an interim order passed by the Rajasthan High Court in connection with SBCW Petition No. 5711/2025.
The counselling and allotment schedule notified earlier for admissions through RUHS CUET-2026 will not be implemented until the next hearing of the matter.
The university has also clarified that no separate communication will be sent to candidates regarding the revised schedule. All future updates will be published only on the official RUHS website.

The counselling has been suspended following an interim direction of the Rajasthan High Court in a batch of petitions led by Vivekanand Vidya Ashram Sansthan v. State of Rajasthan & Others.
The petitions raised concerns regarding long-pending No Objection Certificate (NOC) applications submitted by several educational institutions. According to the court, allowing the counselling process to continue before deciding these pending NOC applications could adversely affect institutions awaiting approval.
As a result, the High Court ordered that the implementation of the counselling and allotment schedule should remain on hold until the matter is heard again.
RUHS has informed candidates that the online counselling process scheduled from 4 July 2026 has been suspended in compliance with the High Court's order.
The university has instructed all applicants to regularly visit the official website for:
Revised counselling dates
Updated admission schedule
Fresh notifications
Important instructions
Candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding future counselling dates.
The postponement applies to admissions for the following programmes offered through RUHS CUET 2026:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom)
Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS)
Radiotherapy Technology (RRTT)
Bachelor of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (BMRIT)
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
All admissions under these programmes will remain pending until further instructions are issued.
While hearing the connected petitions, the Rajasthan High Court observed that applications for No Objection Certificates had remained pending for more than one and a half years.
The court noted that proceeding with counselling before deciding these applications could seriously prejudice institutions that are still awaiting approval.
Therefore, as an interim measure, the implementation of the counselling schedule has been stayed until the next hearing.
At present, no fresh counselling schedule has been announced.
The Expected Next Date for RUHS CUET 2026 Counselling will depend on:
The outcome of the Rajasthan High Court proceedings.
Fresh directions issued by the court.
A revised counselling notification released by RUHS.
Candidates should avoid relying on unofficial sources or social media rumours and wait for the official announcement.
Although the counselling has been postponed, candidates should stay prepared.
It is advisable to:
Regularly visit the RUHS official website.
Keep all admission documents ready.
Avoid making travel arrangements until new dates are announced.
Follow only official notifications.
Keep checking for any revised counselling schedule.
Being prepared will help candidates participate immediately once the counselling process resumes.
As of now, the university has not announced any revision in:
Merit list
Entrance examination result
Eligibility criteria
Admission rules
The current order only affects the implementation of the counselling and seat allotment schedule.
The temporary suspension means:
No seat allotment will take place for now.
Counselling registration and choice filling will remain on hold.
College admissions will begin only after fresh directions are issued.
The admission calendar may be revised depending on the court's decision.
Candidates should remain patient, as this is an interim arrangement and not a cancellation of admissions.
