UP ANM Training Admission Process 2026 is based on the merit and academic performance of the candidates. There is no separate written entrance exam or interview for this admission.
The department prepares a final merit list based on the average percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in their High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations. The selection follows the rules of the Uttar Pradesh Sahayak Nurses and Midwife (ANM) Training Regulation Instructions.
Female Candidates: 80% of the total seats are reserved for general female applicants who meet the minimum educational rules.
ASHA Workers: 20% of the total seats are reserved for active ASHA Karyakatri or ASHA Sangini candidates who have completed at least 5 years of regular service in the Department or NHM, Uttar Pradesh. If these seats are not filled by eligible ASHA workers, the remaining seats will be given to other general female applicants.
Category-based reservations for SC, ST, and OBC candidates apply as per Government Orders. Candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh will not receive reservation benefits.
