Candidates interested in applying for the UPGET 2026 must meet specific eligibility requirements regarding nationality, age, and educational qualifications. Fulfilling these conditions is mandatory for admission to the GNM programme.
Candidates must be Indian citizens. For admission to Government GNM Training Centers/Schools, applicants must either be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh, possessing a Domicile certificate issued by a competent authority, or have passed both Class 10th and 12th (10+2) board examinations from Uttar Pradesh.
The minimum age for admission to the GNM programme through UPGET 2026 is 17 years. This age must be attained on or before December 31, 2026.
Applicants must have passed Class 12th with English, securing a minimum of 40% in the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates from State Open School (recognized by State Government) and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) (recognized by Central Government) are also eligible. Alternatively, those who passed Class 12th with English, securing 40% marks in a vocational ANM course from an Indian Nursing Council recognized school, or in vocational stream - healthcare science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre, are eligible. Registered ANMs with passing marks are also qualified to apply. A 5% relaxation in total marks is provided for SC/ST candidates.

Experience certificate for in-service ANM candidates issued by CMO till June 15, 2026 (As per Annexure 1 in the information bulletin), if applicable.

Log in to the application portal using your registration ID and password, then change your default password.
