The WBHRB Staff Nurse Scorecard 2026 provides a detailed overview of the marks obtained by candidates in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). It includes various scoring metrics to ensure a comprehensive assessment. To maintain fairness across the six different shifts in which the examination was held, a Z-Score Normalisation method was applied.
The scorecard displays the following marks:
Raw Marks (out of 100)
Pro-rated Raw Marks (out of 85)
Normalised Marks
Minimum Marks secured by the last shortlisted candidate for the interview, categorised by their group (To be released.)
Candidates were shortlisted for the interview stage based on their performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The number of candidates shortlisted in each category is 2.5 times the category-wise vacancy or the total number of candidates who appeared in the CBT in that category, whichever is less.
A total of 7,954 GNM candidates were shortlisted. For Basic B.Sc Nursing, 4,678 candidates, and for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, 52 candidates were shortlisted.
The West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) implemented a comprehensive and fair scoring process for the GNM CBT, which occurred across multiple shifts.
Initially, candidates' raw marks were calculated out of a total of 100.
These raw marks were then scaled down by multiplying them by 0.85 to arrive at a score out of 85, known as pro-rated marks.
Due to the examination being conducted in six different shifts, Z-Score Normalization was applied.
This method ensures an equitable evaluation by adjusting scores to account for variations in difficulty across the different exam shifts.
The score card clearly displays the Raw Marks (out of 100), Pro-rated Raw Marks (out of 85), and Normalised Marks.
The interview process for all shortlisted candidates will commence soon, and the detailed schedule will be announced separately by WBHRB.
Interview Call Letters will be available for download from the "Candidate Login" section of the official website. Candidates can typically download their call letters 5 days before their scheduled interview date. It is highly recommended that candidates regularly check the official website for the latest updates regarding the interview schedule and call letter releases.
