WBSHFWS Public Health Manager Recruitment 2025: The West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti has issued a Recruitment Notice No. SHFWS/2025/332 for the contract-based engagement of personnel for the position of Public Health Manager. This recruitment drive is for the National Urban Health Mission under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.

The total number of vacancies for the position of Public Health Manager is 45.

Note: Any subsequent vacancies of the said post created until the panel remains valid would be filled up over and above the declared vacancies from the approved panel by maintaining the reservation roster.

West Bengal Public Health Manager Eligibility Criteria 2025

Nationality

The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and must have knowledge of local languages.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate (as on 01.01.2025) must be a Minimum of 21 years and a Maximum of 40 years.

Existing employees working as Public Health Managers who apply will receive a five (5) year relaxation of age from the date mentioned in the recruitment notification.

West Bengal Public Health Manager Educational Qualification & Experience

Candidates must possess one of the following essential qualifications and have the required experience:

• Essential Qualification Options:

1. Graduation in Dental/Nursing  OR

2. Master's degree in Life Science (includes Botany, Zoology, Human Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bio-Technology, Bioinformatics) / Master Degree in Economics  OR

3. Graduation in Social Science with Masters in Public Health/ Community Health/ Preventive & Social Medicine  OR

4. Graduation in any discipline with an MBA in Human Resource/ Health Care.

• Computer Efficiency: The candidates must have efficiency in computers, including MS Office and the internet.

• Essential Experience: 2 years post-qualification experience in the field of health programme management in disease surveillance/ community mobilization/inter-sectoral collaboration/ IEC-BCC Activities/ Quality Control/ Monitoring and Evaluation.

All essential qualifications must be completed by the first date of the online application. Experience will be calculated after obtaining the required qualification, till the first date of online application.

• The fee must be deposited through online mode only (net banking or credit/debit card system).

• The amount is non-refundable.

The final selection will be based on a score out of 100 Marks.

1. Shortlisting: Applications will be shortlisted based on marks obtained in essential qualification and experience.

2. Computer Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a computer test. Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in the computer test to qualify for the position.

3. Final Selection: Final selection will be done based on the score of the essential qualification, experience, and computer test.
