Students from Senior KG to Grade 10 can participate and use the platform to explore their imagination through drawing.

Students can register for the CREST International Drawing Olympiad either through their school or as individual participants.
Students from Senior KG to Grade 10 can participate through schools registered with CREST Olympiads. Prospectuses containing registration forms are sent to registered schools. Schools need to complete and return the registration forms to CREST Olympiads by the due date.
If a school is not registered with CREST Olympiads, it can send an email to info@crestolympiads.com to receive the prospectus.
Students can participate individually if their school does not conduct Olympiads. Individual participants can register through the online registration facility provided by CREST Olympiads.
The eligibility criteria for the Level 1 CREST International Drawing Olympiad are as follows:
Students studying in Senior KG to Grade 10 can participate.
The participating student's school must be affiliated with an Indian-recognized education board such as CBSE, ICSE, IB, State Board, etc.
Students residing outside India can also participate.
The examination can be taken through individual registration or school registration.

The CREST Drawing Olympiad syllabus is designed for students from Senior KG to Grade 10 and focuses on drawing abilities and techniques developed through practice, observation, and study.
The examination evaluates creative skills and artistic expression. Students are expected to express ideas, observations, emotions, sustainable goals, and their connection with the theme through their drawings.
The syllabus encompasses a range of abilities and techniques that students develop through drawing practice, observation, and study. The topics are tailored according to the student's age and grade level.

Use a white-coloured drawing sheet.
The sheet should be A4 size (210 mm / 297 mm).
A 1 cm border should be given on the drawing sheet.
The drawing should be made inside the border.
The candidate's name, CREST ID, and Class must be written outside the border at the bottom-left corner.
Keep the drawing surface clean and flat.
For pencil drawings, images should be sharp and crisp without pencil marks or broken lines.
After every 7-10 minutes, the student has to show the drawing to the camera so that the examination committee can track the completion of the drawing.
Failure to do so may lead to disqualification.
After completing the drawing, students need to take a photograph or scan of it and upload the image according to the prescribed requirements.
Keep the drawing on a plain background while taking the photograph.
Capture the drawing clearly while minimising the plain background.
The image should be of high resolution.
If scanning the drawing, ensure good scan quality without grey shades or scanner marks.
Adobe Scan, Microsoft Office Scan, or another scanner providing good output can be used.
The drawing must be uploaded within 5 minutes of exam submission.
Failure to upload within the specified time may lead to disqualification.
The uploaded image must not exceed 10 MB.
Accepted formats are .jpg, .jpeg, and .png.
The online examination is conducted using web-enabled devices.
Students can use a laptop, tablet, or desktop with a webcam.
Mobile devices are not allowed.
For students of Senior KG and Class 1, a parent or teacher can assist the child in guiding them while uploading the image.
If registration is not through a school, the student has to take the examination from home.
Students should keep the required drawing materials ready before the examination and choose a comfortable, well-lit space for drawing. They should have enough room to move their arm freely and remain positioned in front of the camera.
During preparation and the examination, students can focus on the following:
Gather the required paper, pencil, eraser, and colouring materials.
Choose a comfortable and well-lit drawing area.
Pay attention to the shapes, proportions, and details of the given topic.
Finalise the topic and gradually add details to the drawing.
Use shading to create highlights and shadows and add depth to the drawing.
Show the drawing to the camera at the required intervals during the examination.
The CREST International Drawing Olympiad results are generally announced within a month's time after the Level 1 examination.
The CIDO Level 1 results are declared in August. Students can check their performance online using their registered credentials on the official CREST Olympiads website.
