There is no extra age limit beyond school grade. That means if you study in class 5, you qualify even if you are slightly older or younger than average, as long as you are officially in class 5.

Hindustan Olympiad Fee

Schools collect the fee and registration forms from students. Then they send them to the organisers. 

• The fee for participation in the Hindustan Olympiad is ₹ 250 per student.

• This fee is non-refundable. 

How to Register for Hindustan Olympiad Online and Through School

Hindustan Olympiad registration can be done only through schools, making the entire process simple and fully school-coordinated for students.

1. Registration happens only through the school - students cannot register individually.

2. Schools will give the registration forms to students.

3. Each student must return the filled form to the school 

4. The school fills out the registration form for each student.

5. The school collects the fee (₹ 250) and sends it with completed forms to the organisers

Hindustan Olympiad Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The Hindustan Olympiad exam pattern is simple and syllabus-based, covering multiple subjects through MCQs that follow the regular school curriculum.

• For classes 1 to 10, the exam covers five subjects: Mathematics, Science, English, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. 

• For classes 11 and 12, the exam’s subject set depends on the stream chosen (science, commerce, humanities), plus English and Logical Reasoning.

• The exam is MCQ-based, all in one sitting.

• 2-hour test with 100 questions from 5 subjects

• Hindustan Olympiad syllabus matches the regular school curriculum, so students do not need extra books beyond their school textbook.

This means that preparing for the Olympiad is like preparing for normal school exams, no need for special and difficult books.

Hindustan Olympiad Test Mode and Languages

The Hindustan Olympiad is conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets, and the exam is offered in both English and Hindi, allowing students to choose the language they are most comfortable with.

• The exam is taken on OMR sheets (offline) in 2025.

• Questions will be available in English and Hindi. 

So students comfortable in either language can take part.

Hindustan Olympiad Result and Certification

• Results will be declared on or before 2nd week of February 2026.

• District Toppers — Top 3 performers of each class will recieve certificates, assessment reports and prizes worth Rs.3100, Rs.2100, Rs 1100.

• Regional / State Toppers — Top 3 performers of each class will receive certificates, assessment reports and prizes worth Rs. 5100, Rs. 4100, Rs. 3100.

• All-India Toppers — Top 3 performers of each class will win laptops, Tablets and smartphones respectively 

In addition, there are lucky-draw prizes: for example, some students scoring above certain marks can win special prize.
