Hindustan Olympiad 2026 is India's largest multi-subject school Olympiad, now in its 12th edition, conducted for students of Classes 1 to 12. More than 20 lakh students have participated in the Olympiad, which is held across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Students can participate only through their schools.

The Hindustan Olympiad 2026 registration is open from 25 April to 15 September 2026, while the exam will be conducted between 25 and 30 November 2026. The results are scheduled to be announced in the 3rd week of February 2027. Every participant receives a certificate and a detailed performance report, while top performers are rewarded at the school, district, regional, and national levels.

There is no extra age limit beyond school grade. That means if you study in class 5, you qualify even if you are slightly older or younger than average, as long as you are officially in class 5.

How to Register for Hindustan Olympiad Online and Through School

Hindustan Olympiad registration can be done only through schools, making the entire process simple and fully school-coordinated for students.

1. Registration happens only through the school - students cannot register individually.

2. Schools will give the registration forms to students.

3. Each student must return the filled form to the school 

4. The school fills out the registration form for each student.

Hindustan Olympiad Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The Hindustan Olympiad exam pattern is simple and syllabus-based, covering multiple subjects through MCQs that follow the regular school curriculum.

• For classes 1 to 10, the exam covers five subjects: Mathematics, Science, English, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. 

• For classes 11 and 12, the exam’s subject set depends on the stream chosen (science, commerce, humanities), plus English and Logical Reasoning.

• The exam is MCQ-based, all in one sitting.

• 2-hour test with 100 questions from 5 subjects

• Hindustan Olympiad syllabus matches the regular school curriculum, so students do not need extra books beyond their school textbook.

Hindustan Olympiad Test Mode and Languages

The Hindustan Olympiad is conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets, and the exam is offered in both English and Hindi, allowing students to choose the language they are most comfortable with.

• Questions will be available in English and Hindi.

Hindustan Olympiad divides rewards into different levels:

• National Level Toppers - Top 3 performers of each class at the National Level will win rewards worth ₹31,000, ₹21,000, and ₹11,000 respectively.

• Regional Level Toppers - Top 3 performers of each class at the Regional Level will win rewards worth ₹5,100, ₹3,100, and ₹2,100 respectively.

• District Level Toppers - Top performer of each class at district level will win rewards worth ₹1100 and students ranking 2nd and 3rd in each class at district level will be awarded a medal and certificate

• School Level Toppers - Top 3 performers of each class at the School Level will be awarded Medal & Certificate.

In addition, there are lucky-draw prizes: for example, some students scoring above certain marks can win special prize.
