IOQM 2025: IOQM 2025: Math Olympiad India is a part of a five-phase process conducted under the aegis of the National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Government of India. Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) is the first step towards the prestigious International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and is conducted by the Mathematics Teachers’ Association (India). The remaining stages are conducted by the HBCSE Olympiad body, the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE-TIFR).

The IOQM 2025 Exam Date has been announced and it will be held on 7th September 2025 across India except for students in Region 04 and 05, where the exam has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The details of an alternative exam for students in these regions will be announced by 14th September 2025 along with a pro-rata scheme for calculating their national certificate cutoffs. Registration for individual students is open from 30th June to 25th July 2025, and for student IOQM Registration through centres, it is open from 9th June to 25th July 2025.

IOQM 2025 Exam Cancelled for Students in Region 04 and 05

The IOQM 2025 exam, scheduled for 7th September 2025, has been cancelled for students in Region 04 and 05 due to unavoidable reasons. Students in these regions will not appear for the exam on the scheduled date. The authorities will announce details of an alternative exam for these students by 14th September 2025. This announcement will also include a pro-rata scheme for calculating their national certificate cutoffs. Students from other regions will take the exam on 7th September as planned. The IOQM Admit Card 2025 has been released and is now available to download. Students who have registered for the exam can get their IOQM admit card from the official websites, ioqmexam.in, by logging in with their registration details. This admit card is very important, as you have to show it at the exam center to be allowed into the exam hall. It has details like your name, roll number, exam center address, and timing. The IOQM 2025 exam will be held on 7th September 2025, so make sure to download and print your admit card well before the exam day. IOQM Answer Key 2025

The IOQM Answer Key and Paper Solution 2025 was made available on September 7, 2025, by the Mathematics Teachers' Association of India (MTAI). Classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 took the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM 2025) Exam on September 7, 2025. 

The conducting body can provide candidates the IOQM response sheet along with the IOQM Official Answer key 2025. Each student's graded exam answers are shown on this sheet. Students may quickly assess their scores and forecast the cut-off by cross-referencing their answers with the IOQM 2025 solutions.

IOQM 2025 Eligibility Criteria

1. IOQM 2025 Age Limit: Students must be born between August 1, 2006 and July 31, 2013.
2. They must be studying in Class 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 in any recognized in Indian school
3. Students must have an Indian passport. Students with an OCI card are also provisionally eligible.
4. Students must have lived and studied in India on or before 30 October 2023 or studied in India before 30 October 2023 in an Indian school system.
5. They should not have qualified or appeared for the 12th grade examination before October 30, 2025.
6. Students must not have started their studies at a university or equivalent institution before June 1 2026.
7. The student must ensure that he meets the eligibility requirements stated. If during the program it is discovered that the student does not meet these criteria, the student may be rejected.
8. The INMO 2025 Awardees are eligible to write INMO 2026 directly WITHOUT qualifying through IOQM 2025 and RMO 2025 provided they fulfil the age criteria

• There are a total of 30 questions in the question paper.
• The IOQM exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode.
• Each question must be answered with an integer between 00 and 99. One or two numbers are used to answer each question in Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics.
