IOQM 2026 exam will be conducted on 6 September 2026. Centre registration and student registration through centres will be open from 1 June 2026 to 25 July 2026, while centre registration will close on 26 June 2026. Individual student registration will be available from 29 June 2026 to 25 July 2026. All registrations are to be completed through authorized centres or the official IOQM portal as per the prescribed schedule by the Mathematics Teachers’ Association of India (MTAI).
IOQM 2026 registration will be conducted online through the official registration portals. Students can register either individually or through authorized centres such as their schools. Applicants are required to fill in their personal and academic details accurately and upload the necessary documents to complete the registration process.

Students studying in Classes 8 to 12 are eligible to appear for IOQM 2026, provided they are enrolled in a school in India or meet the official participation guidelines issued by the conducting body.
The syllabus includes fundamental and pre-college mathematics topics required for Olympiad-level problem solving:
Arithmetic of Integers, Geometry, Quadratic Equations, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Linear Equations, Combinatorics, Factorisation of Polynomials, Probability, Number Theory, Complex Numbers, Sequences and Series, and Elementary Graph Theory.
IOQM 2026 will be conducted on 6 September 2026. The admit card will be made available on the official IOQM portal a few days before the examination. Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre for entry.
The IOQM 2026 exam consists of 30 questions based on problem-solving mathematics. The question paper and official answer key will be released after the examination on the official IOQM websites for students to evaluate their performance.
