• Academic Class: Students studying in Classes 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 in recognised educational boards (such as CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, IB, IGCSE, NIOS, or open/home schooling) are eligible.

• Class 12 Restriction: Students who have already passed the Class XII Board Examination are ineligible, even if taking a gap year or appearing for improvement exams.

• Overseas Candidates: Eligible students residing outside India who appeared for IOQM 2026 at an Indian examination centre are categorised under the Delhi (NCR) Region for RMO selection.
