NSEB Registration 2025-26 is now open for centre registration from 1st August to 20th August 2025. Student enrolment will begin on 21st August 2025 to 14th September 2025. The National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB) will be held on 23 November 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and the NSEB Registration link is available at iapt.org.in. For students who want to work in biology, the national biology exam is important. Before proceeding to registration, please remember the following:
Students must register through their school or university.
In order to qualify as a candidate, the registration form must be filled out completely and accurately. If the registration form is not filled correctly in the knowledge of the student, the form may be rejected.
It is important to submit the completed NSEB registration form along with the application fee.
The NSEB application fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
If the student's school is not registered with NSEB, the student can self-register at a nearby institution.
NSEB Eligibility Criteria
NSEB paper is for Indian students who have a keen interest in Biology. Students at the higher secondary level take this exam and around 850 centres are allocated by the organizing committee in various cities and towns to facilitate the examination process. Students must satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
The applicant must be an Indian citizen first.
The NSEB test is designed for students in grades 9 and 10.
Date of birth between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2010, both dates inclusive.
Must be residing and studying in India on or before November 30, 2022. Must be studying in the Indian school system on or before November 30, 2022. OR Must be studying in the Indian school system on or before 30 November 2023.
Must not have completed (or intend to complete) the Class 12 board examinations before 30 November 2024.
Must not have commenced (or intend to commence) studies at a university or equivalent institution before 1 June 2024.
Must not appear in NSEJS 2024.
