RMO Cut Off 2024: The Homi Baba Science Education Centre (HBSEC) has released the RMO Cut Off 2024 along with the RMO Result 2024 and scores compilation for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) on the official website - secure.hbcse.tifr.res.in/rmo.
For the 2024-25 year, RMO Cut Off 2024-25 of stage 2 of the International Mathematics Olympiad is released after the RMO Exam is held on 03rd November 2024. Students who are going to attend the RMO exam 2024-25 are eager to know the minimum qualifying marks.
Students who secure the RMO Cut Off marks for the RMO 2024-25, are eligible to register for stage 3 i.e. INMO exam 2024-25. Scroll down our page to get the details of the State-wise RMO 2024 Cut Off and Previous Year Cut Off marks.

Students should also note that the RMO Cut Off 2024 for KV and JNV schools will not be available on these sites. Students must contact the respective KV and NVS schools for the same. RMO Previous Year Question Papers
Number of Students Selected in RMO Cut Off 2024-25

As per region-wise RMO Cut Off 2024, 30 students of class 8th to 11th, 5 girl students and 6 students from 12th class are selected for INMO.
-
More students may be selected from some regions in case of any tie-up between students by securing the same marks.
-
The number of students selected may be less than the available quota in some regions due to few students appearing for the RMO exam.
RMO Cut Off 2024 Selection Criteria
- To be considered for INMO 2024 a student who writes RMO 2024-25 will have to secure a nonzero mark in RMO 2024. Note this is not the sole qualifying criterion.
- A RMO 2024 contestant from class 8, 9, 10, 11 will be classified as a Category A student.
- A RMO 2024 contestant from class 12 will be classified as a Category B student.
- From each region (list of regions: https://www.mtai.org.in/rmo-region-codes/) (a) the top 30 students from Category A will qualify for INMO 2024. The ties in the 30th position will be broken by the IOQM 2023 scores. (b) the top 6 students from Category B will qualify for INMO 2024. The ties in the 6th position will be broken by the IOQM 2023 scores. (c) 5 additional girl students from Category A irrespective of the number of girl students qualifying in the top 30 students from Category A will qualify for INMO 2024 under Girls’ quota. (d) There is no separate Girls’ quota for Category B. A girl student of Category B can qualify for INMO 2024 from RMO 2023 if and only if she is selected among the top 5 students in Category B.
