The SOF NSO Cut-Off Marks for 2025-26 were released on January 10, 2026. These class-wise cut-offs for Level 1 determine qualifiers for the Level 2 exam, scheduled for February 8, 2026 (Rest of India) or February 15, 2026 (Maharashtra). The SOF NSO Level 1 cut-off marks for classes 3 to 10 are listed below. These scores determine eligibility for the second level, as classes 1 and 2 have a single-level exam.

For classes 1 to 10, if students achieve the same total marks, the tie-breaking rule considers scores in the following order: Achievers Section (M3), then Science (M2), and finally Logical Reasoning (M1).
The cut-off marks for students in classes 11 and 12 are provided in the table. These scores are crucial for advancing in the SOF NSO competition.

For classes 11 and 12, in the event of a tie in total marks, scores are evaluated based on the Achievers Section (M3), followed by Physics & Chemistry (M1), and then Science (Mathematics/Biology) (M2).
Beyond the specified cut-off marks, students can also qualify for the SOF NSO Level 2 exam through additional criteria. Understanding these pathways is important.
The top 5% of students, class-wise, based on the SOF NSO qualifying marks 2025 26 listed above.
Class toppers from schools were provided a minimum of 10 students from that class who participated in SOF NSO and scored 50% or more marks.
The top 25 rank holders, class-wise, from each designated zone.
It is important to note that for classes 1 and 2, the SOF NSO is a single-level examination, meaning no second level is conducted for these grades.
