
SOF NSO Level-1 Result 2025 highlights students’ performance in the National Science Olympiad and helps them understand their subject-wise scores, ranks, and overall standing at school, zonal, and international levels.
Based on the result, eligible students from Classes 3 to 12 qualify for NSO Level 2, receive certificates, and may earn medals or scholarships depending on their rank and performance.
The SOF NSO Level-1 Result 2025 expresses the performance given by students in the National Science Olympiad. An initial level allows students to test their knowledge in science subjects. Verification of this result is quite essential in knowing the performance. It also reveals whether students are eligible to take Level 2.

After the results are out, students are able to log in online using their credentials and check their results for NSSC and NSO Level 1 result online. Follow these steps below in order to check NSO Result
Go to the SOF website at www.sofworld.org
Click on the "Results" section.
Choose "NSO" from the list of Olympiads.
Enter your Roll Number. Follow this pattern: YourSchoolCode-Class-Section-RollNo (for example, “MH1234-07-A-123”).
Press "View Results".
Your NSO 2025-26 result will be visible
Download or print your result for future use.
The NSO result sheet provides a comprehensive overview of your performance. It includes key scores and ranks.

Ranking for the SOF NSO Level-1 Result 2025 follows specific rules. These ensure fair assessment for all participants.
Total Marks Scored: This is the primary factor.
Sectional Marks: Performance in the Achievers Section receives higher weightage in tie-breaking.
Time Taken: In some cases of identical scores, the time taken is a factor.
Class Level: Ranks are assigned within each class level.
SOF gives recognition to the achievements of the students at different levels. This serves as motivation to the students and acknowledges their efforts for the National Science Olympiad.

Students from Class 3 to Class 12 must meet specific criteria to qualify for NSO Level 2.
Top 5% of students, class-wise, who appear for the Level 1 exam.
Top 25 Rank holders from each zone and each class.
Class topper from each school where at least 10 students from a class appear. The topper must score 50% or more marks.
Once the results are out, the students can check if they have been selected for Level 2 (Classes 3-12). They would receive participation or merit certificates, and also receive school and zone level recognition along with medals or scholarships according to ranks.
