Unified International English Olympiad (UIEO) is an English-language Olympiad for students of Classes 1 to 10. The examination assesses vocabulary, functional grammar, reading comprehension, and interactive English through objective-type questions.

UIEO has a separate question paper for every class. The paper covers three broad areas: Vocabulary and Functional Grammar, Reading Comprehension, and Interactive English.
The Unified International English Olympiad exam is conducted through two modes. Students registering through schools can appear for the offline examination, while direct registrations are scheduled for the online examination.

The offline examination is conducted at the respective schools. There is no open examination centre facility for UIEO.

Ranking in UIEO is primarily based on the marks obtained by students. If more than one student secures the same top score, the marks obtained in the specified order of sections are considered for awarding ranks.
If the same marks continue to result in a tie, the time taken to complete the examination is considered. The student who completes the test in less time receives the higher rank.
The awards for the AY 2026-27 include prizes for top-performing students, rank holders, zone toppers, and class toppers.
The top ranker in each class is awarded a Laptop and a Memento.
The next two rankers in each class are awarded a Tablet PC and a Memento, respectively.
Rankers 4 to 15 in each class receive a cash prize of Rs. 1,000 each.
For Classes 1 to 9, rankers 1 to 15 and 16 to 25 receive Olympiad Coach Online Subscriptions valued at Rs. 1,998 and Rs. 3,996 respectively, along with the specified medals and certificates of appreciation.
The top 25 rankers from Classes 2 to 4 receive the Hand Book of Science - Junior. The top 25 rankers from Classes 5 to 10 receive Awesome English, along with a Medal and Certificate of Appreciation.

Zone-wise ranks are declared after excluding the top 25 ranks across the globe.
Three Class Toppers are declared for each class in every school. These students receive a Medal and Certificate of Appreciation.

The performance report provides students with information about their examination performance. The certificates recognise participation and achievement in the Olympiad.
