Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2026-27 Registration Process

VVM registration process for 2026-27 is given below-

1. Account Setup:

Aspirants must visit the official website and sign up by providing vital details including full name, class, school name, and communication address.

2.OTP Authentication:

The provided information must be verified by entering the unique One-Time Password (OTP) dispatched to the registered email address.

3.Fee Settlement:

After successfully creating the profile, log in to the student dashboard and execute the online application payment of ₹200 through the unified payment gateway.

Note for Schools: School authorities can appoint an Exam Coordinator to handle bulk student registrations. In bulk school submissions, a service fee allowance of ₹30 per student can be retained by the institution for logistical expenses, and the remaining ₹170 per student must be remitted to the central VVM account.

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

Students must fulfil the following primary parameters to participate in the talent search program. VVM eligibility criteria for the 2026-27 session are given below-

  • Eligible Classes: The student must be currently studying in Class VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, or XI.

  • Board Affiliation: Students from any recognized educational board, including CBSE, ICSE, or any State Education Board across India, are eligible to apply.

  • Device Requirement: Candidates must have access to a smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer with a stable internet connection to take the application-based exam.

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2026-27 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The syllabus is deliberately divided into sections that highlight both international core scientific concepts and historical Indian achievements. It does not solely depend on standard school board textbooks.VVM syllabus and exam pattern are given below-

Section-Wise Mark Distribution

  • Section A (40% Weightage): Focuses on the Indian Contribution to Science and the specialised study materials published on the VVM portal, including life stories of eminent Indian scientists. It consists of 20 questions carrying 2 marks each.

  • Section B (60% Weightage): Evaluates core Science and Mathematics principles based directly on standard NCERT textbook curriculum, alongside standard logical reasoning and mental ability questions. It consists of 30 questions carrying 2 marks each.

The total paper consists of 50 multiple-choice questions evaluated for 100 marks, with a total exam time limit of 90 minutes. There is no negative marking for incorrect choices.
