GPAT 2026 Last Minute Preparation

GPAT 2026 Last Minute Preparation: The GPAT exam has been scheduled for March 7, 2026. Candidates who are willing to appear for the GPAT exam should carefully schedule their exam schedule for the exam preparation carefully. Review only the important concepts and avoid starting any new topics. Make a checklist of the required documents to carry on the exam day, which includes the GPAT Admit Card 2026, along with the ID proof and photograph. It is for verification purposes. Stay calm and relaxed before the exam, as it can help in planning the attempts in the paper properly.

Documents To Carry On GPAT Exam Day

Candidates should keep a checklist of the documents to carry on the exam day. Keep the printed copy of the documents in a proper condition required for the verification at the test centre.

  • Download Admit Card: Candidates should use their User ID and Password for downloading the GPAT Admit Card 2026

  • Verify Details: Candidates should check their name, photograph, and the exact address of their exam centre on the admit card.

  • Required Documents: On exam day, every candidate must carry:

  • A printed copy of the GPAT 2026 Admit Card.

  • A valid original photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, etc.).

  • One passport-size photograph.

GPAT Exam Revision Strategy

GPAT is a national-level competitive examination for candidates seeking admission in the respective course programs. In the last two days, candidates should perform a strategic revision to cover the important topics in the exam.

Day 1: Stabilisation Day

  • Focus on the "Big Four": Quickly scan Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, and Pharmacognosy.

  • Active Recall: Close your books and try to remember drug classifications, mechanisms of action (MOA), and schedules.

  • Solve 30-50 MCQs: Spend 1 hour solving mixed questions to keep the "problem-solving" brain active.

  • Check the Error Book: Review the mistakes you made in previous mock tests so candidates don't repeat them.

  • No New Topics: Do not touch any new or difficult chapters today; it will only cause stress.

Day 2: Mental Prep Day

  • Flash Revision (Morning): Flip through "volatile" info like dose ranges, pH values, chemical tests, and formulas.

  • Review Mnemonics: Quickly go over your memory tricks for family names and enzyme sequences.

  • Stop Studying by 2:00 PM: Put the heavy books away. Your brain needs to rest to perform its best tomorrow.

  • Pack Your Bag (Evening):

    • Admit Card: Printed copy.

    • Original ID: Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID.

    • Photo: One passport-size photograph.

  • Early Sleep: Go to bed by 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM. A rested brain can recall much more than a tired one.

General Important Tips For GPAT Exam

Candidates should plan their revision schedule accordingly to get proper relaxation time along with the exam revision.

  • Avoid new books, concepts, videos, or changing attempt patterns in the last five days.

  • Avoid comparing your marks or preparation with others to prevent demoralisation.

  • Prioritise quality over quantity in study hours; 8-9 focused hours are better than longer, ineffective sessions.

  • Maintain 6-7 hours of sleep, stay hydrated, and do light walking and breathing exercises daily.

  • Block social media and distractions for the last seven days to maintain focus.

  • Control negative marking by reading questions carefully and using elimination methods.

  • Use the 45-10 rule: 45 minutes of focused study followed by 10 minutes break for mental sharpness.

GPAT Exam Hall Strategy

Candidates should apply for the three-round approach for solving the GPAT exam questions.

  • Solve easy and direct questions first.

  • Solve moderate difficulty questions requiring calculation or concept application.

  • Skip remaining difficult questions; no need to attempt all questions.

  • Recheck marked questions but avoid re-solving previously unattempted questions to prevent confusion.

  • Control emotional impulses; focus on calm and steady progress.

  • Take deep breaths and maintain confidence; failures on some questions are normal.
