Every competitive exam preparation journey comes with its own challenges, and sometimes the plan does not go exactly as expected. For Shashwat, preparing for GPAT 2026 meant adapting to a changed examination timeline while staying focused on his preparation goals. His journey reflects how consistency and timely adjustments can help students navigate an unexpected change in their preparation schedule.
Having started his GPAT preparation with PW, Shashwat continued working towards his goal as the examination approached. From managing his revision to continuing his preparation after GPAT, his journey involved several stages of learning and practice.
Shashwat's preparation with PW Pharma began well before the final revision period. He attended the classes from the GPAT 2026 One batch and continued this preparation throughout the year.
The year-long classes became the foundation for his final revision, allowing him to revisit topics rather than begin his preparation from scratch.
βPura ek saal GPAT 2026 jo One batch tha starting ka batch tha AS ka, maine wo saari classes to main lagaata hi tha.β
He had therefore already covered the course content before entering the final two-month revision phase.
Shashwat had initially expected to start his major revision around February because GPAT was expected to take place later. Learning in December that the exam would be held in March changed his preparation timeline.
βPhir jab December mein pata chala to thoda like sabki tarah anxiety hui bahut zyaada ki ab kya hoga, revision karna hai abhi puraβ¦β
He responded by making January and February his main revision period and studying consistently during those two months.
β...maine do mahine at the end January aur Feb main pura band kar diya sab kuch aur like pura consistently maine start kar diya.β
The earlier year-long preparation through PW gave him a base to work from when the revision window became shorter.
Once he began revision, Shashwat realised that the material he had studied throughout the year was already familiar to him. He then focused his final preparation on practising previous year questions and mock tests.
βMain meri strategy sir ye rahi ki last ke do mahine mein main main apna PYQ ka rakhun ki previous year karunβ¦β
He also used PW Pharmaβs mock tests and previous year question practice during February.
β...Feb mein to jaise PW se bhi ek mock test ka aur previous year question ke usse to sir bahut madad huiβ¦β
For Shashwat, this practice helped him work with previous year papers and assess his preparation during the final stage.
PW was part of Shashwat's preparation at multiple stages. He attended the GPAT 2026 One batch for his year-long classes and later used PW's mock tests and previous year question practice during the final two months.
The online format also helped him practise previous year papers while keeping the attempt and result process together.
β...previous year question ke usse to sir bahut madad hui kyunki previous year ke paper to aise online dekh ke paper pe karna bahut mushkil hota hai, upar se phir number gine to PW mein saara mil jaata tha.β
This made PW's practice resources part of his final revision routine rather than something he used only after completing the syllabus.
Shashwat had already started his NIPER preparation before the GPAT result was announced. Although he expected to qualify GPAT, he did not anticipate securing a rank as high as AIR 400.
βNahi sir, actually maine start kar di thi, mere ko tha ki haan qualify to main ho jaunga, rank ka mujhe itna nahi tha ki like 400 tak rank jaa sakti hai.β
After GPAT, he continued preparing for NIPER and enrolled in a PW NIPER batch.
βSir. jaise PW ka abhi batch ka maine dekha tha ki NIPER ka shuru shuru ho raha hai, to wo to maine enroll kiya haiβ¦β
His preparation then moved towards NIPER JEE 2026, with PYQs and revision continuing alongside his new preparation.
For NIPER JEE, Shashwat planned to revise his existing preparation before focusing more on the non-pharmacy portion of the examination. He specifically identified Mathematics as an area requiring additional attention.
βAur abhi to mera main aim ye tha ki jo March March hai usme main pehle apna phir se revise kar lun, kyunki phir NIPER mein non-pharma abhi shuru karna haiβ¦β
His next phase therefore involved revising his GPAT preparation while giving additional attention to Mathematics and other non-pharmacy areas.
Shashwat secured AIR 400 in GPAT 2026 after a year of preparation with PW's GPAT 2026 One batch and a focused final revision phase. When the exam timeline changed, he used January and February for consistent revision, PYQs and PW mock tests. After GPAT, he continued with his next goal by enrolling in a PW NIPER batch and working on revision, PYQs and the non-pharmacy portion of NIPER JEE preparation.
