
To secure the prestigious Group ‘B’ Gazetted post of Drug Inspector in Jharkhand, candidates must navigate a high-stakes selection process consisting of a comprehensive written examination followed by a personal interview.
The selection is based on two primary stages:
Written Examination: Objective Type (MCQs).
Interview: Personality Test (Viva Voce).
The final merit list is determined out of a Grand Total of 1100 Marks.
The written exam is divided into five mandatory papers, each designed to test a specific domain of pharmaceutical and medical sciences.

Question Type: Every paper consists of Objective Type (Multiple Choice) questions.

Language of Exam: While the subjects are technical, the notification is provided in Hindi, though technical terms are standard in pharmaceutical sciences.
Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be called for the Interview stage.
Weightage: 100 Marks.
Focus: This stage evaluates the candidate's professional knowledge, communication skills, and suitability for regulatory field work.
To be eligible for the final merit selection, candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying percentage in the written examination as specified by the government:

Backward Class (BC-II): 36.5%
