Important Notes:
Candidates who are eligible for age relaxation on multiple grounds will receive the maximum relaxation, which is not cumulative.
SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates applying against UR vacancies will not receive any age relaxation.
PwBD candidates applying against UR vacancies will receive the age relaxation for PwBD (UR) only, subject to conditions of suitability.
For the RRB Pharmacist 2025 recruitment, candidates must meet the following nationality or citizenship criteria:
A citizen of India, or
A citizen of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African nations (such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam) with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Please Note: Candidates belonging to the categories of Nepalese, Bhutanese, Tibetan refugees, or those of Indian origin migrating from other countries must hold a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India. Candidates requiring such a certificate may be provisionally admitted to the examination, but they must submit the Certificate of Eligibility during the Document Verification (DV). Failure to provide this certificate will lead to the rejection of their candidature.

Lasik Surgery: Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or other refractive error correction procedures are not eligible for positions requiring Medical Standard B-1.

Vertical Reservation:
Vertical reservation applies to the following categories:
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): Candidates from EWS with a family income below Rs. 8 Lakh annually are eligible. This includes income from all sources like salary, business, or agriculture. EWS candidates must submit an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a competent authority.
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL): Only candidates from these categories, as recognized by the Government of India, are eligible for reservation. OBC-NCL candidates must provide a certificate ensuring they do not belong to the creamy layer.
General Category (UR): Candidates who do not belong to any reserved category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) will be considered under unreserved vacancies. They must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the general category.
