Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized university:
Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
Degree in Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology
Pharm D (or equivalent qualification)
Applicants must fulfill one of the following experience requirements:
Manufacturing: 18 months’ experience in manufacturing Schedule ‘C’ drugs
Testing: 18 months’ experience in testing Schedule ‘C’ drugs in an approved laboratory
Inspection: 3 years’ experience as a Drug Inspector inspecting Schedule ‘C’ manufacturing units for State or Central Government
Candidates must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process before submitting the application form.
OTR Registration: Complete One Time Registration on the UPPSC OTR portal at least 72 hours before applying.
Authentication: Visit uppsc.up.nic.in, open the Inspector of Drugs recruitment link (Advt. No. D-6/E-1/2026), and log in using your OTR number.
Fill Application: Enter personal, educational, and experience details carefully.
