
UPSSSC Pharmacists Eligibility 2026: To qualify for the 560 Pharmacist (Bheshajik) vacancies under the UPSSSC, candidates must fulfill strict educational, age, and examination-based criteria. The eligibility is divided into three main pillars: PET qualification, educational background, and age limits.
PET 2025: You must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025.
Score Card: You must have a valid score card issued by the Commission.
Minimum Score: Candidates with zero or negative normalized scores will not be shortlisted for the Main Exam.
According to the UP Pharmacist Service Rules, 1980:
Diploma: Must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Registration: Must be a registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttar Pradesh.
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: 40 years.
Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation is provided for SC, ST, and other categories as per UP Government rules.
These are not mandatory but give preference in case of equal marks:
At least 2 years of service in the Territorial Army.
An 'NCC B' Certificate.
UP Domicile: Reservation benefits (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) are only for permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
EWS: Must have a certificate issued between April 1, 2025, and March 29, 2026, based on FY 2024-25 income.
Women: Must provide a caste certificate issued from the father's side to claim reservation.
