  • Complete the undergraduate degree, which can be either a BA in Finance, a BBA in Finance, or a BA in Economics. These degrees often include investment banker courses.

  • Continue with a master’s degree in a relevant discipline for opportunities of career advancement. Candidates can opt for an MBA in Financial Management or an MS in Finance.

  • Candidates can next opt to earn a PhD. But it is optional, but it can be helpful for higher career prospects. Candidates can specialize in corporate finance theory, foundations of business research, etc.

  • Earn a key certification online, such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional course, which is designed to offer candidates intensive learning and practical skill training on finance and investment.
