The RRB ALP 2024 Panel List for the Bhopal Zone has been released on rbbhopal.gov.in. The cutoff marks have dropped significantly. It fell by 8 to 9 marks for the WR region. Only 670 candidates were selected from 830 called. About 160 posts are still vacant due to the medical failures.

Why has the RRB Bhopal Zone Cut Off Dropped?
Multiple reasons are responsible for the drop in the RRB Bhopal Zone Cut Off by 8 to 9 marks. Around 830 vacancies were announced in the RRB Bhopal Zone’s WCR and WR regions. Only 670 candidates have been provisionally selected after the medical. Therefore, the WR cutoff has been dropped by 8 to 9 marks to fill the remaining 161 ALP posts.

Candidates Missed DV/Medical: Many candidates did not attend the Document Verification (DV) or Medical check-ups. This often happens because they get selected for other government jobs like Junior Engineer (JE) or Technician posts, or other State-level jobs, and they choose to join those instead.

Medical Failure: A very strict A1 Medical Standard is needed for the Loco Pilot post, especially for eyesight. Many candidates fail the medical test and are rejected.
