CBSE Class 10, 12 Exams 2026 Exam Day Instructions

  1. CBSE has released official exam day guidelines ahead of the Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2026.

  2. Entry timing: Students can enter the examination centre from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM only.

  3. No late entry: No student will be allowed to enter the exam centre after 10:00 AM.

  4. Exam start time: The examination will begin at 10:30 AM.

  5. Students must carry the original admit card to the exam centre.

  6. Only blue, black, or royal blue ballpoint pens are permitted. Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited.

  7. Students must be seated 30 minutes before the exam begins and follow the allotted roll number seating arrangement.

  8. Candidates must correctly write the subject name and question paper code on the answer booklet.

  9. Tearing pages from the answer booklet or taking away any exam material is strictly prohibited.

  10. Important changes in 2026 include:

  • Class 10 exams to be conducted in two phases (second phase from May 15).
