The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will host the National Adolescent Summit 2025 on December 5, 2025, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm at the CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Sector 23, Phase 1, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110077. The summit is being held under the theme “Creating Safe Spaces for Every Teen.”
The event aims to promote school environments that are safe, inclusive, and nurturing for adolescents. It will bring together educators, counselors, and wellness professionals from across the country to engage in discussions, share experiences, and explore practical strategies to support students’ emotional and social development.
The summit will address critical issues that influence adolescent life today — from mental health and identity concerns to the effects of social media, lifestyle patterns, and career-related challenges. It is designed to encourage open dialogue and collective action for the overall wellbeing of students.
CBSE has invited principals, vice-principals, counselors, and wellness teachers from affiliated schools to participate in the event. Participants can register online through the official form available at https://forms.gle/H4yeoJ1VDDVU3kyd8. Attendees who complete the session feedback within 24 hours of the summit’s conclusion will receive digital certificates of participation.
The National Adolescent Summit 2025 is expected to strengthen awareness about adolescent mental health and wellbeing across the education sector. It also aims to enhance coordination among educators, parents, and professionals working with young people. A major highlight of the summit will be the adoption of the National Adolescent Wellbeing Charter 2025, which outlines a framework for promoting mental, emotional, and social health in schools.
By fostering collaboration and identifying effective counselling practices, the summit seeks to establish a sustainable model for adolescent support within the CBSE system. Through knowledge sharing, capacity building, and community involvement, the event intends to empower adolescents with resilience, self-awareness, and a stronger sense of identity, preparing them for a balanced and confident future.
