Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Manager (Engg-Civil / Engg-Elect): Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the relevant field.

• Manager (Finance): MBA with specialisation in Finance, PGDM (Finance), CA, ICWA, or CFA with 3 years of experience.

• Manager (IT): Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or MCA with 3 years of experience.

• Manager (Fire Services / Architecture / Law): Relevant professional degree in the discipline along with 3 years of post-qualification work experience.

• Junior Executive (Finance): MBA in Finance, PGDM in Finance, CA, ICWA, or CFA. No prior work experience is required.

• Junior Executive (Law): Professional Degree in Law (3 years regular after graduation or 5 years integrated). No experience required.

• Junior Executive (Operations): Bachelor's degree in Engineering OR Graduate in Science with a 2-year regular MBA. No experience required.

• Junior Executive (Survey & Cartography): Bachelor's in Civil Engineering OR Master's degree in Geography, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geo-informatics, or Geomatics. No experience required.

Age Limit (as on 07.09.2026)

• Manager Posts: Maximum 32 years

• Junior Executive Posts: Maximum 27 years

• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD candidates, and up to 10 years for regular AAI employees.

AAI Manager and Junior Executive Selection Process 2026 involves multiple phases depending on the post:

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): An objective test will be conducted for all posts. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

• Application Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called to verify original documents.

• Interview: Applicable for Managerial posts (Post Codes 1 to 11).

• Physical & Driving Tests: For Manager (Fire Services), candidates must clear a Physical Measurement Test, Physical Endurance Test (running, rope climbing, ladder climbing), and a Driving Test before the interview.

• Medical Examination: Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards set by AAI.
