The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is the first stage of selection. It is an objective-type online test with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There is no negative marking in the exam.

After qualifying for the online exam, candidates are called for Application Verification. Candidates must bring the original as well as self-attested photocopies of the following documents. Failure to provide any of the required documents may lead to disqualification.

For the post of Junior Executive (Fire Services), candidates will undergo a series of physical and skill-based tests, after application verification, including:

Full Ladder Climbing & Descending
Candidates shortlisted for the Junior Executive (Fire Services) position must present a valid Permanent Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) License during Application Verification. Failure to provide this will result in disqualification. Temporary or Learning Licenses will not be accepted.
After selection, candidates must obtain a Heavy Vehicle Driving License within two years of induction. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility for promotion and discontinuation of the third annual increment onwards.
Candidates who clear the application verification (and skill tests, if applicable) are required to undergo a medical examination. Candidates applying must also meet general medical fitness standards.
Candidates selected for the post of Junior Executive (Fire Services) will undergo training, during which they will receive basic pay along with applicable allowances. Additionally, they must sign a Surety Bond of ₹5 Lakhs, committing to serve the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for at least three years after completing the training.
The final merit list is prepared based on all the stages. Candidates who qualify in all these stages are issued an appointment letter and join AAI as Junior Executives.
