Applicants must be permanent citizens of India with relevant documents. The age limit for applying for FCI Grade III Assistant is 18 years as on 01 September 2023. The upper age limit for all posts notified by the authorities is 27 and 28 years. The qualification for the post of FCI Assistant Grade III is the completion of the course from a recognized univers3ity. | Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) | H | *Degree of a recognised University with Hindi as main subject. Proficiency in English specifically for the purpose of translation. Certificate/Diploma course in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa of at least one year duration from a recognised University/Institution approved by Government. Given the fact that the major work of Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) would be translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa, possession of Skill for Hindi Typing would also be required. To assess the same, Hindi Typing with speed of 30 words per minute will be tested during the period of probation. Confirmation of probation shall be subject to the candidate qualifying the prescribed Typing Test. |

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Nationality
A candidate shall be:- a Citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

In addition to the eligibility criteria for FCI Assistant Grade III, applicants must also meet the following important criteria:- Applicants must submit acceptable documents to prove that they fall under the fixed age limit.
- This notification is also applicable for candidates who are already working as FCI (Food Corporation of India)employees.
- Applicants must have adequate computer skills.
- Diploma/masters course in translation from English to Hindi and vice versa for at least 1 year.
- Hindi typing speed should be 30 words per minute.
