India Post GDS Apply Online 2026: The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, has released the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement Notification, Schedule-II, July 2026, through Notification No. 17-12/2026-GDS dated August 20, 2026. How to Apply Online for India Post GDS 2026?

The application process consists of two parts: One-Time Registration (OTR) and filling the Online Application Form.

India Post GDS Selection Process 2026

There is no written examination mentioned as the basis for shortlisting in this notification. Candidates will be shortlisted through a system-generated merit list.

The merit list will be prepared using the marks obtained in the Class 10 Secondary School Examination, with the marks aggregated into percentage up to four decimal places.
