Magandeep Bharti Cracks SSC CGL 2025, Secures Office Superintendent Post with PW

At 23, Magandeep Bharti secured the post of Office Superintendent through SSC CGL 2025, with a rank of around 12,000. A BBA graduate from Shaheed Sukhdev College, University of Delhi, he had earlier prepared for defence examinations before turning his attention to SSC CGL.

His previous preparation gave him a useful foundation, but CGL brought a different challenge. He had to adapt to the exam’s demand for faster problem-solving, better accuracy, and stronger Reasoning. During this phase, the PW Ujjwal Batch helped him work specifically on Maths speed and Reasoning.

How Did Magandeep Bharti Prepare for SSC CGL 2025?

Around two months before the pre-examination, Magandeep began directing his preparation specifically towards CGL.

“Pre exam se do mahine pehle main preparation karne baitha. Mera main focus Maths aur Reasoning par tha.”

A mock test helped him understand that knowing the syllabus and performing well under exam conditions were different challenges.

“Maine pehle mock deke dekha toh mujhe laga ki sirf syllabus poora karne se nahi hoga. Ismein accuracy aur speed ki bhi bahut zarurat hai.”

This changed the direction of his preparation. Maths needed quicker execution, while Reasoning included topics such as family relations and syllogism that were comparatively new to him. He therefore spent the remaining time addressing these specific requirements rather than revisiting every subject equally.

How Did PW Help Magandeep Bharti in His SSC CGL Preparation?

The PW Ujjwal Batch came into Magandeep’s preparation at a point when he already understood Maths but needed to solve questions more efficiently.

“Maths achhi thi meri, lekin speed nahi thi. Uske liye maine speed increase kari Ujjwal Batch se.”

Reasoning required a different kind of support because it was less familiar from his previous exam preparation.

“Reasoning maine Sandeep Sir se ki thi, Ujjwal Batch mein.”

PW therefore helped him address two different needs: increasing his pace in a familiar subject and building confidence in an area that required more attention. This allowed him to use the time before the examination on the parts of his preparation where improvement could have a direct impact.

What Was Magandeep’s Daily Study Routine for SSC CGL?

Magandeep made revision the starting point of his day. Instead of continuously adding new material, he first returned to what he had covered earlier.

“Main subah around 6 baje uthta tha. Jo maine pichhle din kiya hai, use pehle revise karta tha.”

English had a different place in his routine. He maintained a vocabulary notebook and kept updating it while returning to older words.

“Daily main kuch words add karta tha aur pichhle ke revise karta tha.”

He also kept up with current affairs regularly, a habit that had continued from his defence preparation. Maths formulas were often revised during spare time, helping him stay in touch with important concepts without setting aside another lengthy study session.

How Did Magandeep Manage Time and Prioritise Subjects?

During the exam, Magandeep looked for ways to reduce unnecessary calculations. In Maths, he relied on option elimination and approximate calculation when the question allowed it.

“Maine option elimination lagaya, kyunki approximate calculation bhi ek cheez hoti hai.”

At the same time, his Mains attempt showed him why faster solving still needs control.

“Maths mein mere chaar-paanch questions mein bahut silly mistakes ho gayi.”

His approach to GK/GS was based on prioritisation rather than trying to master an unlimited amount of material.

“Main subject ko weightage ke hisaab se leke chalta hoon. Mere jo pehle se strong points hain, main unhe aur strong karne ke liye gaya tha.”

This helped him decide where his time was most useful instead of allowing one difficult area to dominate his entire schedule.

What Is Magandeep Bharti’s Advice for SSC CGL Aspirants?

When asked what mattered more during preparation, motivation or consistency, Magandeep chose consistency without hesitation.

“Consistency hi zaroori hai. Discipline ke saath padhoge toh aapko motivation ki zarurat hi nahi hai.”

He also had an important message for aspirants who may not begin with the same academic strengths that he had.

“Main ye nahi keh raha ki agar aapka pehle se subject strong nahi hai toh aap nahi kar sakte.”

“Consistency bana ke, discipline se agar kisi bhi subject ko cover karenge toh aasani se ho jayega.”

The result eventually brought a very different moment from all the preparation that came before it. Magandeep checked his selection on his phone and then on his laptop before finally sharing the news with his mother.

“Jab poora confirm ho gaya toh maine Mummy ko sabse pehle bataya.”

His father, who works in construction, was delighted to see him secure a government job, while the family’s excitement grew as they understood more about his new role.

Magandeep’s selection as an Office Superintendent at 23 marks the outcome of a journey in which he used his existing strengths wisely, sought support where he needed improvement, and stayed committed to his preparation. With focused practice, disciplined revision, and the support of the PW Ujjwal Batch, he was able to strengthen his Maths speed and Reasoning and turn his preparation into a successful SSC CGL selection.
