Priyanshi’s SSC GD Success Story: From Basic Preparation to BSF Selection with PW

Preparing for SSC GD while managing college studies can be challenging, particularly when an aspirant does not have proper guidance at the beginning. Priyanshi faced a similar situation during her initial attempt. However, she continued working on her preparation and later joined PW’s Vishwas batch to strengthen her fundamentals.

Her preparation gradually became more organised through concept building, revision, and weekly mock tests. This consistent approach helped her achieve what she had been preparing for over the years. When the SSC GD Final Result 2025 was released, Priyanshi found her name in the final merit list and was selected for the BSF post.

How Did Priyanshi Build Her SSC GD Basics? 

Priyanshi was pursuing her studies while preparing for SSC GD. During her first attempt, she did not have proper guidance, which made it difficult for her to establish a strong foundation. Her preparation changed when she joined PW’s Vishwas batch.

Talking about this phase, she said:

“Mera jo base hai wo ekdum zero level se ekdum zero level se ekdum clear hua hai main samajh nahi sakti ki mujhe kuch aata nahi tha aur main kahan pahunch gayi thi”

For Priyanshi, clearing the basics became the first important step in improving her preparation. Instead of simply moving from one topic to another, she focused on understanding concepts and revisiting them regularly.

She also advised other SSC GD aspirants to first work on their foundation and then continue revising the topics they had studied.

How PW Helped Priyanshi Strengthen Her SSC GD Preparation

Priyanshi’s association with PW started through YouTube. Before knowing about the organised learning platform, she watched lectures from different PW faculty members on YouTube. Later, after learning about the available batch, she joined the Vishwas batch.

She explained:

“Main pehle to jab mere ko ye PW ke baare mein kuch pata nahi tha tab main YT se hi aap logon ke lectures attend karti thi. Main saari faculties ke lecture YT pe hi dekhti thi. But jab mujhe pata chala ki nahi, uska koi platform bhi hai jahan basic se tumhe sab clear karvaya jayega, to mere ko bahut khushi hui ye jaan ke”

Priyanshi also appreciated that the paid batch was reasonably priced for students who could not afford expensive preparation options. She highlighted the combination of accessible fees and the quality of education she received through PW. 

She said:

“Jo paid batch ki jo fees thi, wo bahut hi reasonable thi, jaise mere jaise bachchon ke liye jo kabhi itna afford nahi kar paate the. Aur itni achhi quality wala education kabhi itne mein nahi milega. Vaisa mere ko PW mein mila, aur isse main bahut khush hui ki maine haan, sahi decision liya ki maine PW join kar liya.”

For Priyanshi, joining PW provided a more organised way to work on her basics and continue her preparation. The combination of foundational learning, accessible education, and guidance became an important part of the preparation process she followed. 

Priyanshi Improved Her Preparation Through Weekly Mock Tests

Along with her SSC GD preparation, Priyanshi was also pursuing PGDM. Because of her academic commitments, she did not follow a daily mock-test routine. Instead, she attempted mock tests weekly and used the results to understand where her preparation needed improvement.

She recalled:

“Dheere-dheere jaise maine mock lagana start kiya, mere score increase hote gaye the day by day. Main weekly usko mock test lagati thi aur mera score... agar jo topic mujhe nahi clear tha to main wo topic ko clear karti thi, then wapas week ke baad wo jo week mein jo padhaya hai, sab saari faculties ne, wo sab revise karti thi. Wapas weekly mock test lagati thi aur mera score kaafi achha raha tha, phir dheere-dheere better ho gaya tha. ”

This approach helped Priyanshi turn mock tests into a regular part of her preparation and gave her a clearer understanding of her progress. Over time, the improvement in her scores reflected the consistency she maintained in her preparation.

Priyanshi Focused on Revision to Keep Her Concepts Clear

As her preparation progressed, Priyanshi gave importance to revision. According to her, simply completing a lecture was not enough. She preferred revisiting what she had studied so that the concepts remained clear before moving ahead.

Her advice to aspirants was:

“Pehle tum base clear karo khud ka aur usko baar-baar revision karte raho us topic pe.”

She further suggested revising a lecture soon after attending it. Her approach was to review the previous day's learning before starting something new. This helped her maintain clarity in her concepts and build a stronger foundation over time.

For Priyanshi, revision was therefore not a one-time activity. It was a regular part of her preparation with lectures, practice, and mock tests.

SSC GD Final Result 2025 Brought Priyanshi Her BSF Selection

After continuing her preparation with this approach, Priyanshi finally reached the result she had been waiting for. When the SSC GD Final Result 2025 was released and she saw her name in the final merit list, she initially found it difficult to believe that she had been selected.

Describing that moment, she said:

“First of all jab mera result aaya tha, mujhe matlab believe hi nahi ho pa raha tha ki... mera final merit mein naam aa gaya.”

The selection in BSF marked an important milestone after her preparation journey, which had included college studies, building her basics, regular revision and weekly mock tests.

Priyanshi’s Advice to SSC GD Aspirants

Looking back at her preparation, Priyanshi highlighted a few practices that she believed were important for aspirants. Her primary advice was to avoid moving ahead without clearing the basics.

She said:

“Pehle tum base clear karo khud ka aur usko baar-baar revision karte raho us topic pe. Aisa nahi ki tumne ek baar padh liya aur usko chhod do. Usko chhodna nahi. Baar-baar revision karoge to tumhein safalta zaroor haasil hogi. ”

She also emphasised regular revision and explained that revisiting topics repeatedly can help aspirants retain even difficult concepts. She recommended revising what was studied before moving on to new topics, helping maintain clarity in the basics.

Her preparation also shows the importance of using mock tests as a tool for improvement rather than looking at scores alone. Her scores initially remained low, but she continued testing herself, identified weak areas, and worked on them before attempting the next mock.
