Things Required To Carry With the SSC CGL Admit Card

Candidates are required to carry the following items to the exam centre along with the printed copy of the SSC CGL Admit Card 2025

  • Printed SSC CGL Admit Card 2025 (preferably in colour, and at least two copies).

  • A valid photo identity proof—such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, or Driving License.

  • Passport-size photographs (same as uploaded during application).

  • Blue or black ballpoint pen (if required for descriptive papers).

  • Transparent water bottle, if permitted.

SSC CGL Exam Day Instructions

SSC has kept certain guidelines that every candidate should follow carefully when appearing for the CGL exam, commencing from 12th September to 26th September 2025

  • Gates will close 30 minutes before exam commencement; late entry is not allowed.

  • Candidates should reach the centre 1 hour before the reporting time. 

  • Biometric verification and frisking will be carried out.

  • Only rough sheets provided at the centre may be used.

  • Follow all directions of the invigilators strictly.

  • Any malpractice may lead to the cancellation of candidature.
