The SSC CGL JSO Selection Process involves multiple stages. This selection process assesses candidates' knowledge, reasoning ability, and proficiency in statistics for JSO posts.
- Tier-I (Preliminary Exam): This is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions in General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude. The performance in Tier I determines eligibility for Tier II.
- Tier-II (Mains Exam): This stage consists of Paper I (compulsory for all) and Paper II (for Junior Statistical Officer applicants). Paper II focuses on statistics and includes questions on Data Interpretation, Probability, and Mathematical Statistics.
