Following this, SSC identified and corrected an inadvertent error in the cut-off table, while clearly stating that there is no change in the result status of any candidate.

Representations Received by SSC

After the release of marks, SSC received multiple representations from candidates claiming that their names were missing from List-I, List-II, or List-III, even though their scores were higher than the cut-off mentioned in Para 5 of the Tier-I result write-up.

SSC Review and Findings

Upon a comprehensive examination, the Commission clarified the following:

  • List-I, List-II, and List-III published earlier are correct

  • No candidates have been added or removed from the published lists

  • An inadvertent error was found only in the cut-off table under Para 5

The error specifically relates to:

“List-3 – Candidates shortlisted in CGLE (Tier-I) for appearing in Tier-II (Paper-I) (for all posts other than JSO and Statistical Investigator Grade-II)”

SSC emphasized that the error was limited to the display of cut-off marks and the number of candidates, and did not affect actual shortlisting.
