SSC CPO Apply Online 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the online application process for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2026, with the release of the SSC CPO Notification. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can submit their applications through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in, or the mySSC mobile application. The SSC CPO 2026 application process is available from September 10 to September 30, 2026. The last date to submit the application form is September 30, 2026, up to 11:00 PM.

Candidates must complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website before filling out the SSC CPO Application Form 2026. The application fee for eligible candidates is ₹100, while women, SC, ST and eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

SSC CPO Vacancy 2026

The SSC CPO 2026 examination will recruit candidates for Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and CAPFs, along with the Sub-Inspector (Fire) post in CISF.

The notification mentions 205 vacancies for Delhi Police SI Male and 112 vacancies for Delhi Police SI Female. For SI (GD) in CAPFs, the notified vacancies include 1,320 male and 147 female posts, while 234 vacancies are available for SI (Fire) in CISF-Male.
The posts carry Level-6 pay, with a pay scale of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.

Educational Qualification

For Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF, candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, or the prescribed three-year diploma qualification in relevant engineering fields.

Age Limit

For all posts except SI (Fire) in CISF, the age limit is 20 to 25 years as on August 1, 2026. Candidates must have been born between August 2, 2001 and August 1, 2006.

For SI (Fire) in CISF, the age limit is 18 to 30 years. Candidates must have been born between August 2, 1996 and August 1, 2008.

Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per government rules. For example, SC/ST candidates receive 5 years of relaxation and OBC candidates receive 3 years.

How to Fill SSC CPO 2026 Application Form

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the SSC CPO Apply Online 2026 process.

Step 1: Visit the SSC Website

Go to the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Complete One-Time Registration

Candidates who are applying through the new SSC website must first complete One-Time Registration (OTR).

The OTR created on the old SSC website, ssc.nic.in, will not work on the new website. Once generated on the new website, the OTR remains valid for examinations conducted through the new SSC website.

Step 3: Keep Required Details Ready

Before starting OTR, candidates should keep their mobile number and email ID ready for OTP verification. Candidates should also keep their Aadhaar number or another permitted ID, along with Class 10 Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing details.

Step 4: Complete OTR

Click on “Register Now” under the Login or Register section and enter the required personal and additional details. Candidates will also need to create a password and submit the declaration.

Step 5: Fill SSC CPO Online Application Form

After completing OTR, log in to the SSC website and select the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2026 application.

Enter all required information carefully, including educational qualification, category, examination centre preferences and other details.

Step 6: Capture Live Photograph

Candidates do not need to keep a pre-existing photograph for uploading. The application module captures a real-time photograph during the application process.

SSC CPO Application Correction Window 2026

SSC will provide an application correction window from October 8 to October 10, 2026, up to 11:00 PM.

Eligible candidates can correct and resubmit their applications up to two times during this period. The correction charge is ₹200 for the first correction and ₹500 for the second correction, irrespective of the candidate's gender or category.

Only candidates whose completed applications and required fee have been received within the original application period will be allowed to use the correction facility. The latest corrected application will be considered valid, while the previous application will be cancelled.

SSC CPO 2026 Application: Aadhaar-Based Authentication

SSC has implemented Aadhaar-Based Authentication for the current examination. Candidates have the option to authenticate themselves using Aadhaar during OTR and the online application process.

Candidates who opt for Aadhaar authentication will not have their application rejected on the ground that the uploaded photograph or signature does not meet the prescribed standards. Such candidates will also not be required to produce a recent colour photograph or original valid photo identity proof for admission to the Computer-Based Examination.
