SSC GD Slot Booking 2026 Cancelled, Exam (Postponed), Check Official Notice

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially cancelled the SSC GD Slot Booking 2026 facility and deferred the Constable (GD) Examination 2026 till further notice. The decision was announced through official notice on 17 February 2026.

Candidates who were waiting for the self-slot selection link must note that the slot booking system will not be applicable for SSC GD 2026. Fresh exam dates will be announced separately on the official website ssc.gov.in.

All applicants are advised to download their updated admit cards from the regional websites to verify their officially allotted venue and timing.

While the exam was originally slated to begin on February 23, 2026, it has been postponed until further notice; consequently, the revised city slips are now expected to be available on the official website (ssc.gov.in) approximately 8 to 10 days before the new exam commencement date. Candidates must log in using their registration number and password to download this intimation, which serves as a vital tool for making timely travel and accommodation arrangements. It is important to remember that the city slip is not an admit card and cannot be used for entry into the testing center; the formal admit card will be issued separately just 2 to 4 days prior to your specific exam date.

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2026 approximately 7–10 days before the commencement of the computer-based examination. Candidates can track their specific exam city and date status even earlier, as regional websites typically activate the "Application Status" link a few weeks prior to the labs opening.
