SSC JHT Post Preference 2026 is an important step for candidates who appeared in Paper-II of the Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2025. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notice about the Option-cum-Preference form.

Candidates who do not submit their preferences will not be considered for the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) or final selection. Candidates who appeared in Paper-II of the Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2025 are required to submit their Option-cum-Preference for posts and departments.
The SSC conducted Paper-I on August 12, 2025, in Computer-Based Mode. Its result was declared on November 4, 2025. Paper-II was held on December 14, 2025, and its result was declared on June 4, 2026.

Open the Candidate Login section.
Log in to the account using the required details.
Go to the My Application tab.
Find the option for post and department preferences.
Select the posts and departments in the desired order.
Check the selected preferences carefully.

Keep a copy of the submitted form for future use.
SSC JHT Post Preference Form 2026 can be revised only during the specified period from September 8 to September 11, 2026. Once the preference window closes, the last submitted choices will be considered final.
Candidates who fail to submit their preferences within the given time will not be considered for any post in the FRTA or final result. Any complaint sent by post, fax, email, by hand, or through another method about missing the deadline will not be accepted.
PwBD candidates must take special care while selecting posts. They should choose only those posts that are identified as suitable for their disabilities. Post allocation will be made according to the examination notice and based on merit-cum-preference.
If a PwBD candidate is selected for a post that is not identified as suitable for the candidate's disability, the concerned User Department may cancel the candidature.
Candidates should read the examination Notice, Corrigendum, and Addendum carefully. They should check whether they meet the required physical and medical standards for the selected post.
If a candidate is selected for a post but is later found not to meet the required physical or medical standards, the concerned User Department may cancel the candidature.
