The Staff Selection Commission conducts the annual SSC MTS (Multitasking Staff) recruitment to hire individuals for various roles within different Central Government departments. SSC MTS Age Limit 2025

The eligibility criteria for the positions, as outlined in the Recruitment Rules of different User Departments, are as follows:

  • Candidates should be aged between 18 -25 years for MTS posts
  • Candidates should be aged between 18-27 years for Havaldar posts.
  • In addition to the aforementioned age requirements, candidates from reserved categories are granted age relaxation per Government Regulations.

SSC MTS Nationality 2025

According to the eligibility criteria for the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff 2025 exam, individuals applying for the SSC MTS test must hold Indian citizenship or satisfy any of the following nationality conditions:

  • Citizens of Bhutan
  • Citizens of Nepal
  • Tibetan refugees who came to India prior to January 1, 1962, and have settled in India
  • Individuals of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, with the intention of settling in India.

SSC MTS Education Qualification 2025

Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (10th class) examination or its equivalent from a recognised board as of the application closing date. Candidates who do not possess this qualification are not eligible to apply. Proof of the qualification must be submitted during document verification.

SSC MTS Physical Tests (Only for Havaldar Posts)

For the Havaldar post in CBIC and CBN, physical standards and physical efficiency tests (PET) are also part of the eligibility criteria. These include:
