SSC MTS Havaldar Cut Off 2026 has been prepared using the normalized marks of Session-II of the Computer Based Examination. Separate cut-offs have been released for different categories and Cadre Controlling Authorities (CCAs).
Only candidates who qualified in both Session-I and Session-II were considered for shortlisting. The minimum qualifying marks were:
General (UR): 30%
OBC/EWS: 25%
SC/ST and Other Categories: 20%
When two or more candidates secured the same marks, SSC used the following tie-breaking rules:
Higher marks in General Awareness (Session-II)
Higher total marks in Session-I
Older candidate given preference
Alphabetical order of the candidate's name
Candidates whose roll numbers are included in the SSC MTS Havaldar Result 2026 PDF have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process. The next stage is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), which are conducted only for the Havaldar post.
SSC has clarified that candidates shortlisted through the Computer Based Examination (CBE) must successfully clear both PET and PST to remain eligible for the Havaldar post. The schedule for these physical tests will be released separately on the official SSC website.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the SSC website for the PET/PST dates, venue details, admit card, and other important instructions.
No. The PET/PST is only for the Havaldar post.
Candidates who have applied for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) post do not need to appear in the physical test. SSC has stated that the first round of tentative allocation for both MTS and Havaldar posts will be announced together after the PET/PST process is completed.
Even if a candidate shortlisted for Havaldar fails the PET/PST, the candidature for the MTS post will remain valid, provided the candidate is eligible for MTS selection.
Along with the result, SSC has shared several important updates for candidates.
Two candidates' results have been withheld due to suspected suspicious activities.
727 candidates' results have not been processed because they were found to be involved in malpractice during the Computer-Based Examination.
169 candidates have been debarred for various reasons.
SSC has informed that the final answer key and candidates' marks will be uploaded only after the declaration of the final result.
The PET/PST schedule for Havaldar candidates will be published separately on the SSC website.
SSC has used the revised final answer key after reviewing all objections received from candidates.
